MBUX augmented reality connects the real world with the virtual world, and navigates you safely through even the most confusing traffic situations. Graphic navigation and traffic information appears on live images from the front camera, making orientation and location easier.

Assistance systems

Blind spot Assist

Blind Spot Assist looks closely for you - especially as soon as you activate the turn signal. The system can thus warn you visually and acoustically of side collisions with other road users in the blind spot. Even after the journey, the system remains vigilant and warns you if you open the door at the wrong moment.

ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL

Breathe easy: ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL monitors the air quality for you with the help of pollution and fine dust sensors. A two-stage filter concept reduces the fine particles and a large proportion of further airborne pollutants in exemplary fashion. Depending on the measurement value, your Mercedes switches intelligently between fresh air and air-recirculation mode.

GLE plug-in hybrids.

Long range, short charging time: as the largest SUV from Mercedes-Benz, the GLE with Mercedes-Benz plug-in hybrid drive is available with a diesel or petrol engine. The GLE plug-in hybrids impress with an all-electric range of up to 100 km thanks to a larger battery. This allows you to drive without local C02 emissions in the city and on short journeys, and to benefit from the independence and range of the combustion engine on long journeys.
