Coupés from Mercedes-Benz have always embodied elegance on four wheels. They have long since ceased to be available simply as exclusive luxury-class sports cars. Since the end of the 1960s they have also formed an integral part of the mid-range model series.
The traditional definition of a coupé describes a two-door vehicle with a streamlined profile and a falling rear roofline for a sleek, sporty look. A coupé is also typically shorter and more compact than the corresponding saloon and has longer front doors. However, the current definition also deliberately includes four-door vehicles with a correspondingly slim design concept.
If you prefer a dynamic driving style and if the size of the interior and luggage compartment is of secondary importance to you, then the sensuously sporty coupé design may be your first choice. The coupés also impress with their more agile driving style compared to the corresponding saloons.
