    Eye-catching. From every perspective.

    Eye-catching. From every perspective.

It all begins with a design language for which there are hardly any words, characterised by the typical proportions of a large luxury coupé. In the form of a long bonnet with imposing powerdomes and an elegant roof line including frameless side windows. And a rear end that signifies one thing above all: the impressive presence of the Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupé.

Nobody likes doing without luxury. Not even at 200 km/h. Perfectly finished materials ensure driving at the highest level: the specially developed AMG sports seats in fine nappa leather with AMG-specific seat upholstery layout. They offer optimum lateral support and the highest level of comfort – even on long journeys. Nothing and nobody stands in the way of the driving pleasure and the optional 20-inch AMG cross-spoke forged wheels. The necessary control is provided by the AMG high-performance compound braking system with the option of red-painted brake callipers. The AMG ceramic high-performance compound braking system is also available as an option.

    High performance to its core.

    High performance to its core.

Luxury and performance are no contradiction. There is no denying the motorsport origins of the Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupé – it's in its DNA.

You feel it and you see it: touching the accelerator awakens the AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine to deliver its output of 450 kW (612 hp) and torque of 900 Nm and accelerate the Coupé from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. The engine features the proven biturbo design in which the two turbochargers are located in the V between the cylinder banks rather than on their outside – an arrangement which specialists call "hot inside V". This basic principle allows a compact engine design and a more prompt turbocharger response. Thanks among other things to its cylinder shut-off, it is one of the world's most efficient series-built V8 engines.

Inspiring driving dynamics come courtesy of the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9-speed sports transmission and the AMG sports suspension based on AIRMATIC – even right at the start thanks to the RACE START function. The striking AMG Panamericana grille catches the eye straight away. A motor-racing feature that optimises aerodynamics and the supply of cooling air. Its basic form can be traced back to the legendary Mercedes-Benz 300 SL racing car.
