New Delhi: Continuing its acceleration in the fast lane of performance motoring in India, Mercedes-Benz today launched the new generation of its highest selling AMG model ever, the all new AMG C 63 S. The tenth high performance AMG model to be launched in the Indian market, the AMG C 63 S augments the model range of Mercedes-Benz’s best-seller and the ‘2015 World Car of the Year’, the new C-Class, even further. The new Mercedes-AMG C 63 S is a powerful high-end rear-wheel drive sports car powered by a 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine, developing an output of 375 kW (510 hp), making the V8 model the most powerful car in its segment. The new AMG C 63 S was launched by Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India.
