Optimum visibility and light conditions are ensured thanks to the combination of Bi-Xenon headlamps and new LED daytime driving lights. The latter comprise two lamps, each with seven light-emitting diodes in order to improve perception by other road users. Further advantages include low electrical consumption and a long life. And last but not least the look also derives benefits from the up-to-the-minute design: the lights sport an innovative, differentiating appearance when switched on. The Bi-Xenon headlamps offer better light intensity, a greater beam range and wider illumination than conventional headlamps. The dynamic headlamp range control prevents drivers in oncoming traffic from being dazzled, whilst the headlamp cleaning system keeps the headlamps free of dirt.

While towing, trailer stabilisation gives the driver additional support, along with the standard specification Electronic Stability Program ESP®. If the trailer starts swinging back and forth when on the move, this intelligent system can recognise the problematic driving situation and applies short brake actuations to stop the trailer movement promptly.
