This commitment has enabled the introduction of BlueEFFICIENCY, for the first time in India, with the launch of the E 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY vehicle. The technology is also available in our latest E 250 CDI & S 350 CDI L.

BlueEFFICIENCY takes its name from the expression ‘blue planet’ a description of the earth, when viewed from space. Blue is also the colour of water- an element vital for life. And not least, the only output of a zero emission vehicle is water vapour.

BlueEFFICIENCY is an agglomeration of numerous advancements; for example: aerodynamics that reduce drag, lightweight materials, intelligent energy management system, and improved energy-efficient power steering system. Each of these measures does its bit to reduce fuel consumption, collectively offering substantial savings while reducing CO2 emissions by up to 23%.
