Performance limits are there to be exceeded. This means that the CL 65 AMG is nothing less than the relentless continuation of what the experts at AMG have begun to do with the CL 63 AMG: taking peak sporting performance to another dimension. This is made possible by the AMG 6.0 litre biturbo engine with a power output of 450 kW (612 hp) and a maximum torque of 1000 Nm which catapults the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds.

To deliver the sheer power of its powerplant to the road the CL 65 AMG was equipped with the 5-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT automatic transmission. It can also be operated manually using the silver aluminium gearshift paddles on the AMG Ergonomic sports steering wheel and facilitates incredibly quick gear changes.

The exterior of the top line model is different from the CL 63 AMG in that it sports 20-inch AMG forged wheels, two chrome plated twin exhaust pipes in a V12 design and the "V12 biturbo" lettering on the front wings. The interior of the AMG powerhouse combines sportiness with the highest level of exclusivity and comfort: thanks to the specially formed ergonomic seat rests you will always be perfectly seated in corners driven at speed. The new AMG V12 diamond design in the AMG sports seats as well as the door inlays, the sports pedal system made from brushed stainless steel and the instrument cluster with RACETIMER round off the sporty interior design.
